The advanced level results for the 2016/2017 academic year have finally been released. The Cameroon General Certificate of Education Board (CGCE) have disclosed the ordinary level results are still in process and would be released as soon as all the necessary stages have been met.

The 23rd edition of the GCE advanced level has witnessed a drop from over 62% last year, to 35.2% this year, according to Bambot’s blog.

This drastic drop is highly attributed to the uprisings in the southwest and northwest regions of Cameroon which saw the absence of students from school for more than 3months.

The release of the GCE results this year has however not witnesses the ambiance that usually comes with the release of GCE results in the country.
